BPC-157 explained.
The most researched peptide within recovery research. Where it comes from and what is being studied.
BPC stands for body protection compound. It is a chain of fifteen amino acids, derived from a larger protein found in gastric juice. Coming from an environment with an extremely low pH makes it remarkably stable.
What is being researched
The published literature focuses on three areas: tendon and muscle tissue, the gut wall, and the formation of new blood vessels. The latter, angiogenesis, recurs in almost every repair process.
Almost all of this research is preclinical. There are few published human studies, which means conclusions about use in humans cannot be drawn.
Why it is often mentioned with TB500
BPC-157 and TB500 are regularly studied side by side in the literature because they act on different points in the same process. BPC-157 is researched in connection with local repair, TB500 in connection with cell migration and the build-up of the actin network.
That is why we also offer them as a combined vial, in equal parts.
Form and storage
Supplied as freeze-dried powder in a sealed 10 mg vial. Store the vial at minus 20 degrees and protected from light. After dissolving keep refrigerated and avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
