Privacy statement.

Which data we process, why, and how long we keep it.

Which data we process

  • Order data: name, email address, delivery address, billing address and the contents of your order.
  • Payment data: the status of your payment. Your card or account details never reach us, the payment provider processes those.
  • Contact data: what you send us via the contact form or by email.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and for measuring website use.

Why we process it

We process order and payment data to perform the contract. That legal basis is performance of a contract. We keep invoices because the tax retention obligation requires it, that is a legal obligation.

For analytics and for non-essential cookies we ask your consent first. You can withdraw it at any time.

How long we keep it

  • Invoices and records: seven years, because of the tax retention obligation.
  • Customer account and order history: as long as your account exists, then another two years.
  • Contact messages: two years after the last contact.
  • Analytics data: at most fourteen months.

Who we share it with

Only with parties needed to fulfil your order: the payment provider, the carrier and our hosting party. A data processing agreement is in place with each of them. We do not sell your data and do not use it for purposes you would not expect.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and transfer your data, and you can object to processing. Send a message via the contact page for that. We respond within a month.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Cookies

We use functional cookies that are needed to run the site and the cart. Those require no consent. For marketing cookies we do ask, through the notice on your first visit.

With your consent we place the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland. We use it to measure which adverts lead to a visit or an order. If you do not consent, that pixel is not loaded. You can withdraw your choice by clearing this site's cookies in your browser; on your next visit you will be asked again.
