Take the pen out of the fridge
Let it come to room temperature for a few minutes. Straight from the fridge it runs stiffer.

Check the label
The label carries the batch number. Use it to look up the lab report for your batch.

Fit a new pen needle
Wipe the rubber cap with an alcohol swab and screw on a new pen needle.

Prime the pen
Set the dial to its smallest step, hold the pen needle up and press until a drop appears.

Set the dial
Turn the dial to the step you want. The clicks count for you, so there is nothing to measure.

Needle off, pen back in the fridge
Take the pen needle off afterwards and drop it in a sharps container. The pen goes back in the fridge.
Keep refrigerated. The pen arrives cold. Put it in the fridge straight away, following the storage instructions in the box.

How do I store this?
Store freeze-dried vials at minus 20 degrees, protected from light. After dissolving with bacteriostatic water, keep the vial refrigerated and use it within the recommended period. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing after reconstitution.
Why is it shipped with dry ice?
Everything is packed in the Netherlands and shipped with dry ice, so the contents stay at temperature on the way. On arrival, take the vial out of the packaging and store it straight away according to the storage instructions.
